Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to water my lawn

(New Lawn or Existing)

The best time to water your grass during the summer months is dawn/dusk.  During this time of the day is naturally when the temperate is at it’s coolest.  Watering the grass during this time will allow for the water to be absorbed into the soil.  During the Spring and Fall months this is also a good time to water your grass, however, because of the colder temperatures and dampness its not as crucial.

How often should I cut my lawn

(Personally or Professionally)

During the Spring and Fall months, it is best to cut your lawn at least once a week.  With the cooler temperatures, grass grows quickly so keeping up with the new growth weekly is your best option.  In the summer, because of the extremely warm temperatures it is best to cut your lawn on a bi-weekly schedule.  Cutting your lawn bi-weekly during the summer will keep your lawn healthy and help to prevent sun damage.

How often should I fertilize my lawn

We find that breaking lawn fertilizing into 5 steps from April-November works extremely well.
